Last year August, we and other 3 families went to kota bahru for a short getaway. We stayed in this traditional malay house but very well furnished with aircon and bath tub. The place is owned by a danish couple. Though the 'hotel' room is small but it is fully equipped. I love the foyer where we had our breakfast every morning. There is a nice playground with swing and see-saw. The food serves in kota bahru used a lot of coconut milk and very sweet, it's very different from the malay food u eat in singapore.
