Jaundice!!!

Today we brought Rayhan for his first checkup. The air outside was so hazy that we had to cover him with nappy cloth to protect him from hazy air while walking to the carpark. At the clinic, they were many babies waiting their turn to see their doc. They did a blood test (SB) on baby Rayhan and the result came back that his jaundice level has increased (during discharge from hospital, his jaundice level was still mild). So Doc Siva gave us 2 options - (1) Rent the UV cot to let him sleep or (2) hospitalization. We chose to rent the UV cot ($245.70 for 3 nights). The cot arrived right after we reached home after visiting the clinic. Then we tried to put baby Rayhan on the cot naked (except diaper and the eye mask to protect his eyes from the UV) but he just cried and cried...seeing him like this breaks my heart...coming Monday we will have another blood test and may God bless my baby to recover from jaundice.
